Pianists at the start of their careers
Bärenreiter donated special prizes at the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg
Serbian pianist Bogdan Dugalić won first prize in the piano category at the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg. He also received the audience award. Second prize went to Elisey Mysin from Russia, and third prize to Anastasiia Kliuchereva from Russia/Austria. Twenty-five pianists from fifteen countries had qualified for the prestigious competition, which took place from 13 to 19 February 2026 in Mozart’s birthplace. A special “Bärenreiter Urtext Prize” was awarded to each of the three prize winners in the form of a generous voucher for sheet music. (Photo: Michael Klimt)
