The huge prestige of Bärenreiter publications – for instance their complete Berlioz edition – is without question. On a more personal note, the company has been the much-appreciated German agent for Faber Music, my own publisher, over many years. The Kassel firm also has a highly impressive list of living composers, amongst them some esteemed colleagues and dear friends.
