How do I set up a customer account?
You have three options to register at the Bärenreiter webshop: you can either click on the “Login” icon which is located above the Quicksearch, you can click on the icon “Wish List (next to the “Login” icon) or if you are on the product detail page you can click on the icon “Wish List” which is shown under the price information.
With the first two options you will be taken directly to the Login/ Register page. With the last option, you will be taken to a shortened registration which should be completed if you are logging in for the first time.
In both cases please complete the online forms as requested.
What are the advantages in having a customer account?
As a registered customer you only have to provide your personal data once. As a result all ensuing orders can be made considerably quicker.
If you make a direct order, you can see the delivery status of your current order in your customer account.
Deviating delivery addresses and your personal data can be easily maintained in your customer account.
Why must I login in order to place an item in my wish list?
A wish list can only be saved in a personalized way and in order to be able to do this, a customer account is a prerequisite. If you are not logged in, a login window will appear as soon as you wish to place an item in your wish list.
How can I delete an item from my wish list?
You can delete an item from your wish list by clicking on the icon “Wish List” which is at the top right-hand corner. Then click on the field “Delete item” and click on ok when the confirmation prompt follows.
If you are logged in and select a product in the shop which is already saved on your wish list, this will be shown on the product detail page at the right-hand side under the price information by means of a tick next to “Add to Wish List”. If you click on “Add to Wish List” anew, you can remove the product from the wish list.
Data protection
We will handle your personal data with complete confidentiality and will store only that data which is required to fulfil your order. Your data will be transmitted to your selected dealer only in as far as it is required to fulfil your order. Your order data will be transmitted by SSL*, which means that the data will not be encrypted in readable form for third parties, the identity of the recipient is checked and secured so that your data reaches us complete and unaltered. The encryption will only be activated for the actual order process. According to the browser, this will be displayed as a closed padlock symbol or an intact key in the lower bar of the browser window. Please also note our Data Protection Statement.
